About Alex

He has always loved connecting with and meeting new people, and the bond of music has allowed him to do that. He was raised in the church, and got some of his first gigs there. In high school, he formed a band called “Turning Age.” He toured across the state of Kentucky for 4 years playing festivals, events, and benefits including the main stage at Black Gold Festival and Levitt Amp Concert Series. Every summer, he was a part of the house band for the RollerGirls of Central Kentucky based out of Lexington, Kentucky. This was such a unique and cool experience, and something he will cherish his whole life.

Alex Mondine got his start at a young age when his grandpa gave him his first guitar; a cherry red flying V made for a child. The rest is history. He was born and raised in Berea, Kentucky with nothing to do but go to the local Wal-Mart, and was raised on old classic rock albums his parents had. He started guitar lessons at 5 and hasn’t stopped since. After graduating high school, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music where he studied Commercial Music at Belmont University.

Besides playing in 5 bands based in Nashville, he has been featured on Paul McCartney's social media, played at renowned places such as The Exit/In, 3rd And Lindsley, and The Basement, and has recorded at Dark Horse Recording, Ocean Way studios A,B,C, and D, REM Studio A,C, and D, Columbia Studio A, and Quonset Hut.Along with all of this, he has worked as a production assistant for Bunbury Music Festival 2019, CMT Artist of the Year 2021,and the 2022 CMT awards, been featured on various radio stations, and in 2022, was on tour with the Turtles as a musicians assistant for “The Happy Together” tour.
